The ResMed Power Station II V2 (RPSII-V2) is an all-in-one external battery that enables the operation of compatible ResMed devices* where mains power is not available. It also provides backup power in case of an unexpected mains power failure. The RPSII-V2 is intended for single-patient re-use in the home environment and multi-patient re-use in the hospital environment.
RPSII-V2 replaces the V1 model, as this is no longer available. For information on ResMed device compatibility and battery run time, please see the Battery/Device Compatibility List. RPSII-V2 is suitable for: hospitals, home-use, adult and paediatric patients.
Please note: This battery kit is compatible with ResMed’s AirSense™, AirCurve™, Lumis™ and Stellar™ series of devices. Other devices may require extra cords or adapters. Please refer to the user manual.
RPSII V2 is an external lithium-ion battery that works alongside ResMed ventilators or sleep therapy devices.
Charging the battery: designed to be quick and easy. You can charge the battery from 0% to greater than 95% in less than four hours at room temperature.
Power or backup power: engineered to be simple and convenient.
The voltage output selector on the RPSII-V2 rear panel lets you select the correct output voltage for your device. Using the appropriate DC cable, you can connect the battery to the ResMed therapy device to provide power or backup power. When providing backup power (for AC or DC inputs), the AC power cord connects the therapy device to the mains power outlet.
Using two batteries: assists with doubling capacity. The two batteries sit neatly on top of each other. A Velcro™ strap is included in the coupler kit to hold them more securely, if required.
Travel Bag
The RPS II Travel Bag offers several great features of its own. It is designed to be used with either one or two RPS II batteries. Use the access panel to connect the Power Supply Unit (PSU) Adapter for ResMed Power Station (RPS) II to the RPS II. The front, zippered pouch has ample room to store cables.
Please note:
This machine doesn't have the RPSII- Air10 DC cable which attaches the battery to the machine. This needs to be purchased together with the battery with part number 37343 for the Airsense 10. Please select from the correct list when ordering.
Battery Run Time
Battery run time varies greatly based on the machine used, the pressure setting and whether or not a humidifier or heated tube are used. Using a heated humidifier or heated tubing greatly reduce the run time of the battery. Please reference the ResMed Battery/Device List for more information on Battery Run Time.
