Returns and Refund Policy

Warranty & Returns Policy

 

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Purchases can be returned and a full refund minus a $10 stocking fee will be given where such goods are unused, unopened and in original packaging within 14 days of purchase.

  • Defective items – if you receive a defective item, please contact us as soon as possible on info@easycpap.com.au or 1300 064 779 to arrange an assessment for a replacement.
  • Items with hygienic seals – items with hygienic seals can only be returned if the seal is intact (unless the item itself is defective). These items include CPAP masks, cushions/seals, filters, humidifier chambers and mask parts.

You have fourteen days to return or exchange an item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. If your item satisfies all the conditions, please email returns@easycpap.com.au or 1300 064 779 to arrange your refund or exchange before sending the item back to us. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the conditions are not met due to Health Regulations on medical equipment.

Once we receive your request we will be in touch with you to discuss the return of your item.

We are not obligated to provide a refund if you change your mind about the purchase of CPAP products. We will meet our obligation under the relevant State Legislation to provide a remedy if the goods are defective.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping any item we recommend a trackable shipping service as we cannot exchange/refund if we do not receive your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds or replacement for faulty or damaged CPAP equipment will be applied when Easy CPAP has been notified by phone or email detailing the nature of fault or damage. All claims will be subject to assessment of the fault or damage by Easy CPAP and will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty conditions. Easy CPAP will assess the level of fault and or damage upon receipt of the products and determine a suitable solution for replacement or refund.

Items that are returned for repair under warranty take approximately 7-30 business days to be repaired and returned to you. The 7-30 business day period commences from the 'physical' receipt of goods at the premises of easycpap.com.au by a easycpap.com.au representative. This does not include any collection notices or attempted deliveries by a courier(s), Australia Post representative or other person(s). The 7-30 business day period quoted is a guide only and should be treated as such. Thus from time to time, repairs under warranty may extend past the 7-30 business day period.  Easy CPAP accepts no liability or consequences for repairs under warranty that extend past the 7-30 business day period.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Warranties:

Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

Any goods purchased at Easy CPAP will be entitled to receive warranties provided by the manufacturer. These are subjected to the Terms and Conditions under their warranty programs. We are happy to handle warranty claims or repair procedures on your behalf with the manufacturer, however all postage and delivery charges will be borne by you.

What is not covered under the limited warranty?

The limited manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

  1. Any damage caused as a result of improper use, abuse, modification, alteration of the product, water ingress and other defects not related to material or workmanship.
  2. Repairs carried out by any third party service organisation that has not been expressively authorised by the manufacturer
  3. Any damage, contamination due to cigarette, pipe, cigar or other smoke
  4. Any damage caused by exposure to ozone, activated oxygen or other gases.

NOTE: The limited manufacturer’s warranty is non-transferable and is void on product sold, or resold outside of the original purchase. Limited manufacturer’s warranty claims on defective product must be made by the initial consumer at the point of purchase.

Any refund or exchange for non-faulty items is provided at our discretion and is subject to the satisfactory return of the product. Please contact us info@easycpap.com.au prior to the return to confirm if it is acceptable.

Due to health regulations, any sealed items (such as masks) which have been opened will not be accepted. Credits will not be applied until Easy CPAP has received the item and is satisfied that it is in original saleable condition.

Taxes & Import Duties

International customers may be required to pay sales tax, duty and/or Customs charges. All Taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the cost of the order or shipping charge. Taxes and customs charges differ depending on the country and state of the shipping address. We suggest contacting your local customs office if you are unsure of the applicable taxes and customs fees that are relevant to you. Easy CPAP is not responsible for any additional taxes and customs charges that are requested during the shipment of your order.
