This Respironics in-line bacteria filter fits between the CPAP machine and the CPAP tube. It provides cleaner air for those who suffer from allergies. Manufactured by Respironics, this bacteria filter can be used with ANY brand of CPAP or BiPAP machine.
Bacteria Filters are capable of collecting and trapping Ultra-Fine particles that may inhabit our air. If you suffer from allergies and (or) have sensitive airways and want the highest level of filtration, then bacteria filters are recommended as an added layer of comfort and protection during your sleep therapy. Bacteria Filters cannot be washed and should be replaced once dirt is noticed (once a month or whichever occurs first).
