The chin strap comes with removable hook tabs, and a chin cradle. You can attached it on it's own to the top of your head, or you can attached it to the headgear of your CPAP mask. This product can be used with any mask, nasal pillow or nasal prong CPAP mask.
The aim of the chin strap is to help reduce any air leaks that may cause your nose or mouth to dry out, by holding the chin in the appropriate position to encourage breathing through the nose. Dry nasal passage or mouth can occur when using a CPAP or BI-PAP machine and mask.
