The complete NightShift package – the device plus both wearing options, so you can choose between neck and chest placement and find the position that is most comfortable for you.
NightShift is a clinically proven treatment for positional obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) and snoring, and a comfortable alternative to CPAP for people whose breathing problems occur mainly when sleeping on their back. When it detects that you have rolled onto your back, it delivers a gentle vibration that slowly increases in intensity until you change position – typically without waking you.
Neck or chest – your choice
Both give the same therapy and reporting.
Why sleeping position matters
Up to 70% of people diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea have substantially more severe apnoea when sleeping on their back, and around 20% would have little to no breathing problems if back-sleeping were avoided. For these people, keeping off the back is an effective, drug-free and mask-free therapy.
Clinically proven results
In clinical studies, NightShift users achieved:
How it works
Sleep and therapy reporting
NightShift records every night and produces a compliance report you can share with your physician or sleep clinic, including hours used, percentage of time on your back, supine attempts per night, time to respond to feedback, percentage of time snoring, sleep efficiency and awakenings per hour.
Who is NightShift suitable for?
NightShift is most effective for people who have been diagnosed with sleep apnoea and whose sleep study shows a supine AHI at least twice their non-supine AHI, with a non-supine AHI below 20 events per hour. It can also be used alongside CPAP, mandibular advancement splints (MAS) and other sleep therapies.
NightShift is not recommended for people with tics or tremors of the head, cardiac arrhythmia treated with a pacemaker, current neck, shoulder or back pain, or open cuts or wounds where the device is worn. Keep the device at least 15 cm from implanted medical devices. Please consult your physician before starting positional therapy.
